the Team

We are the Carrs & Co Photography House: four rockstar photographers and a support team that specializes in providing a tailored and seamless client experience. Our work-family has developed over time, each member carefully selected based on their talent as a photographer, their passion for people, and their energetic personalities. Carrs & Co raises the bar and believes that your story, your journey, and your wedding deserve nothing less than our everything.

Choose C&Co and get ready.

We invest every ounce of our 40 years combined experience into a single goal: Tell Your Story. It’s what separates us from the rest. We don’t simply photograph your wedding or create some inspiring artistic images. Your story becomes ours to tell: your excitement is our excitement; your worries become our worries. From our first meeting to your big celebration, we have your back the whole way.

THE INVESTMENT

THE INVESTMENT

What is great photography worth? This is the million dollar question. Michael’s mentor wrote an article that perfectly articulates our philosophy. Since we can not say it any better than the man who helped launch the Carrs & Co, we will allow his words to do the talking.

“Prepare to invest in your wedding photography above all else. Your guests are going to be hungry on the ride home. No one will remark on the place-settings the next day. By the morning all you will have to remember such an important day is the photography. If you are unhappy with your images, you would pay most any amount to be able to put a different person back on your wedding day. When the images are amazing, you will never regret the cost.

What’s more, over the years you will be able to look at your photography as an anchor in your marriage — but only if you love the images. Only if they really represent you. I honestly believe great

wedding photography can store some of the love in a relationship and give it back when times get tough and the memories are needed most.

Whether a backyard family affair or a six figure gala, a good wedding photographer will make your wedding look like it was designed by Pinterest and, more importantly, will reflect all the love and beauty you have brought into one place for those few brief moments of a lifetime.

If you understand what it takes to be a great wedding photographer, what it is to capture the perfect 100th of a second that will only happen once, you’ll see exactly why it is worth every cent to invest in your photography…”

As Seen In

1

CHAT

Whether we schedule a phone call or an in person meeting, we think it is super important to take the time to talk. We want to get to know you and for you to know us, otherwise how will we know if we’re a good fit? In our initial meeting we will make sure you see a sample full wedding, our albums, our studio and be confident in exactly what you are getting into.

The Process

Meet Grace

she's like the wizard behind the curtain

Grace is Co-Owner, manager and customer service specialist.

Michael and I were married in 2006, the same year we “started” our business. The funny thing was, we had no idea what were we’re doing. We fought and clawed our way through those first few years as we figure out how to run a business. About 4 years in, I carved out my own niche in our company. I took over all the day to day running of the business, talking with clients, scheduling and from then on everything started working really well.

Today, I call myself something in-between the CEO and a customer service specialist. Not only am I the point person for all communication but I’ll also walk you through the process, help you with wedding day logistics, offer a wealth of knowledge for timing and scheduling, all in the hopes that you walk away with images you love and an experience you remember. My goal is to care for you, show that we at the Carrs care for you and that we are worth investing in.

Tidbits about Grace:

• I never cook the same recipe twice, Michael gets annoyed at this.

• I re-arrange my house at least once a week.

• I am the queen of the castle with 4 boys at home (husband, children, dog).

• Homemade popcorn is my jam.

• My mom has a green thumb, but that gift is not genetic.

• I love to read, with 20 books on my current reading list.

• There are 3 tea pots in my home, and I don’t really like tea.

• Cooking gives me joy, but I still think about ordering pizza at least 4 times a week.

The Studio

Located at 434 E. Third Street in downtown Dayton, our studio is usually full of great music, wonderful scented candles, and some pretty cool people. We host our client meetings, image reveal parties, and all sorts of special events at the studio.

This space is also ideal for clients to use for prep on their wedding day. With some of Dayton’s best venues only minutes away, and three doors down from Square One Salon, consider using our studio as your wedding day “Getting Ready” spot.

Look for us next time you’re in the neighborhood, and stop in to say hi! Price of admission: 1 Dozen Doughnuts
